Investment Aid Tax Credits for Hotels

The Malta Enterprise has recently launched the Investment Aid Tax Credits 2014-2020 intended to continue sustaining the regional industrial and economic development of Malta.

Support is being given in the form of tax credits awarded to hotels, hotel resorts, suite and apartment hotels and guesthouses.

The credit is worked out as a percentage of the hotel’s new investment, including new tangible or intangible assets acquired or new jobs created, which percentage depends on the size of the hotel.
