MICHAEL CURMI – Managing Partner
Michael Curmi is the Managing Partner at VCA and heads the firm's Assurance Services and Audit practice. With over 38 years of experience at VCA, he has extensive expertise in audit, assurance, financial reporting, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, he has advised a diverse portfolio of local and international clients across a wide range of industries, providing strategic guidance on complex financial reporting and assurance matters.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics in the United States, where he was inducted into Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international honour society for economics, in recognition of his academic excellence. He subsequently qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA).
As Managing Partner, Michael is responsible for the strategic direction of the firm while maintaining a strong focus on quality, technical excellence, and client service. He is committed to fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous development within the firm.
He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (FIA).

CAROL CASSAR TORREGGIANI MQR – Partner
Carol Cassar Torreggiani is a Partner at VCA and leads the firm's Indirect Tax and Accounting Services practice. With over 35 years of experience at the firm, she advises a broad portfolio of local and international clients on indirect tax matters, compliance, accounting services, and regulatory requirements. She has extensive experience assisting businesses across a range of industries, providing practical and commercially focused solutions tailored to their operational and tax needs.
Carol graduated from the University of San Diego, USA, where she distinguished herself through both academic excellence and sporting achievement. A highly accomplished tennis player, she has received national recognition for her contribution to Maltese sport, including a Presidential Award and appointment to the National Order of Merit.
As head of the firm's Indirect Tax and Accounting Services practice, Carol is committed to delivering high-quality client service while supporting businesses in navigating an evolving tax and regulatory landscape.
She is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants (FIA).

ALICE LOSCO – Partner
Alice Losco is a Partner at VCA with over 21 years of experience in the firm's Assurance Services and Audit practice. She has extensive experience leading audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of private and public sector clients across a wide range of industries, both locally and internationally. Her expertise includes financial reporting, risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and the delivery of high-quality assurance services.
Alice holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Malta and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) during her time at VCA. She has played a key role in developing and documenting the firm's audit quality standards and procedures, helping to maintain the highest levels of technical excellence and consistency across audit engagements.
In addition to her client responsibilities, Alice is actively involved in the training and development of VCA's audit professionals, mentoring team members and supporting the firm's commitment to continuous professional development and quality assurance.

AMANDA FALZON – Senior Manager
Amanda Falzon is a Manager at VCA, leading the firm's Accounting and Back Office Services while also managing large audit engagements as part of the Assurance Services team. With over 21 years of experience at VCA, she has developed extensive expertise in accounting, audit, financial reporting, and the delivery of outsourced accounting and back-office solutions to clients across a range of industries.
Amanda joined the firm in 2005 and completed her ACCA qualification during her employment. She has a strong interest in technical development and is responsible for monitoring and implementing updates to professional standards, accounting requirements, and best practices to ensure the firm's services remain aligned with evolving regulatory and technical developments.
Alongside her client responsibilities, Amanda plays a key role in the firm's technical training and professional development initiatives, supporting the continuous growth of VCA's staff and promoting a culture of quality, learning, and technical excellence.

REBECCA BONNICI
Rebecca Bonnici has over 14 years experience in the firm's Assurance Services and Audit practice with VCA. She specialises in audit engagements, with expertise in IFRS reporting and the preparation and presentation of financial statements. She participates in large audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of local and international clients operating in a variety of industries, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Rebecca joined VCA in 2012 and has developed extensive experience in audit, financial reporting, and technical accounting. She has a strong interest in technical development and is responsible for monitoring and implementing updates to professional standards, accounting requirements, and best practices, helping to maintain the firm's high technical standards.
Alongside her client responsibilities, Rebecca plays an active role in the technical training and development of VCA's audit professionals, supporting the continuous enhancement of the firm's technical expertise and commitment to quality.
